In the spring and summer 2021 Memory Wax and the Cuban dancecompany Danza Teatro Retazos started a WhatsApp group to find new ways of working with the performance Playground during the pandemic times. This summer we welcome 20 youngster from the City of Malmö’s project Ung i sommar, summer activities for youth. During their one month practice they will try out how it is to work as a professional dancer and learn how to create a performance together. Workshop leaders: Daniel Staley and Jonas Örknér. We are looking forward!

The 13th of March our performance Shapes is shown at Riksteatern’s event Expo scenkonst. We talk about the performance on the 14th of March. Looking forward to meet you there! Shapes is a cooperation with the Cuban dancecompany Danza Teatro Retazos. Autumn 2021 Shapes tour within Dansnät Sverige.
